About The Opportunity
A technology-driven company operating in the Enterprise Software & Application Development sector seeks a hands-on Java Developer to join an India-based, on-site engineering team. The role focuses on delivering robust, scalable backend systems and APIs for business-critical applications across web and cloud environments.
Role & Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot for production-grade applications.
- Build, document, and consume RESTful APIs; ensure security, performance, and backward compatibility.
- Implement data persistence using Hibernate/JPA and optimise SQL queries and database schemas.
- Write unit and integration tests (JUnit); contribute to CI/CD pipelines using Maven/Gradle and Git-based workflows.
- Participate in code reviews, enforce coding standards, and mentor junior engineers to raise team quality.
- Diagnose and resolve production issues, monitor application performance, and implement reliability improvements.
