About The Job
As a Senior Java Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining our cutting-edge software solutions. You will be responsible for implementing high-performance and scalable Microservices using Spring Boot and other relevant technologies. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Java development, Microservices architecture, and a passion for delivering high-quality software.

Responsibilities
- Participate in requirement gathering and translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Develop high-quality, maintainable code to meet customer requirements.
- Troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement effective fixes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
- Conduct peer reviews to ensure code quality and best practices.
- Create and maintain technical documentation (codebase, APIs, processes).
- Work with solution architects to design scalable, efficient systems.
- Ensure designs align with business needs and industry standards.
Requirements
- Experience working in SAFe Agile and Waterfall methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Hands-on experience in enterprise-level IT development projects.
- Strong expertise in Java/J2EE and Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Data).
- Experience in microservices architecture and frameworks.
- Proficiency with tools like Maven, Gradle, Jenkins, and Git.
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and software development skills.
- Solid understanding of software architecture and design principles.
Good to Have
- Insurance domain experience (preferably Property & Casualty).
- Experience with microservices, APIs, and cloud-native development.
- Familiarity with integration tools (MuleSoft, ESB, API Gateways).
- Knowledge of document management and generation systems.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., GitLab).
- Familiarity with messaging systems (RabbitMQ, Kafka).
- Exposure to front-end technologies (Angular, React).
- Understanding of secure coding practices.
- Hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda) or Azure (VMs, Blob Storage, Azure SQL, Functions).
- Knowledge of additional cloud services (Azure App Services, Logic Apps, Event Grid / AWS Elastic Beanstalk, Step Functions, EventBridge).
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
