About The Role
We are seeking a skilled Java Developer to join our dynamic IT team at our Santacruz West location. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable enterprise applications that support our financial operations. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work on high-impact projects within a fast-paced environment, utilizing the latest Java technologies and frameworks. The Java Developer will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product management, credit, operations, and IT to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 3+ years of professional experience in Java development. A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required. Strong knowledge of Java programming, object-oriented design principles, and software development best practices is essential. Familiarity with Java frameworks such as Spring Core, Spring MVC, and Spring Boot is mandatory. Experience working on high-volume transactional systems and understanding of financial workflows will be advantageous. Candidates should also have excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement Java design patterns and work with advanced data structures and algorithms to build scalable and high-performance applications.
- Develop and maintain enterprise applications using Spring Core, Spring MVC, and Spring Boot frameworks.
- Implement and monitor Spring Security to ensure application security, data protection, and compliance with financial regulations.
- Design and build robust, reusable, and maintainable Object-Oriented software solutions.
- Develop RESTful APIs and Java-based microservices for internal systems and external integrations.
- Ensure high availability, performance, and responsiveness of applications supporting HFC business operations.
- Work closely with product, credit, operations, and IT teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Perform code reviews, debugging, and optimization to maintain code quality and system stability.
- Follow best practices in software development, version control, and deployment processes.
