About The Role
We are seeking a skilled Java developer with 5–10 years of experience in building scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot, with hands-on expertise in deploying containerized applications on Red Hat OpenShift. The role involves designing and developing RESTful APIs, integrating systems using modern architectures, and ensuring high-quality delivery through automated integration testing using the Citrus Testing Framework. The ideal candidate should have strong experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control tools, and a solid understanding of microservices, containerization, and DevOps practices, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to deliver reliable, high-performance applications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 5 to 10 years of professional experience in Java development, with a focus on microservices architecture.
- Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful API development.
- Hands-on experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Red Hat OpenShift.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, tools like Jenkins, Git, and Maven.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks, particularly Citrus Testing Framework.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and cloud-native application deployment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively within Agile teams and communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
