Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Java Developer. The Java Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust Java-based applications. Day-to-day tasks include writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code, debugging and resolving technical issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring optimal application performance. Additionally, the role involves contributing to application designs and implementing best practices in software development.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Java development, including knowledge of Java frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate
- Experience with database management and query languages like SQL
- Understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles
- Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills
- Knowledge of RESTful API development is a plus
- Experience with cloud computing environments (e.g., AWS, Azure) is highly desirable
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment and meet deadlines
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
