Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad for a Java Developer. The Java Developer will design, develop, test, and maintain high-performance web applications. Responsibilities include analyzing user needs, defining technical requirements, writing code following industry best practices, and troubleshooting. The role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams, participating in code reviews, and optimizing applications for functionality and performance.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in core Java concepts, including object-oriented programming, collections, exception handling, and multithreading.
- Experience with frameworks such as Spring, Spring Boot, and Hibernate, as well as Java Persistence API (JPA).
- Hands-on knowledge of database systems including MySQL, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with software development tools and environments, including version control systems like Git.
- Knowledge of Business Process Management tools such as Flowable, Appian, or OpenText AppWorks is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Software testing skills for debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
