About The Role
We are seeking a skilled Java developer with 5-10 years of experience in building scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot, with hands-on expertise in deploying containerized applications on Red Hat OpenShift. The role involves designing and developing RESTful APIs, integrating systems using modern architectures, and ensuring high-quality delivery through automated integration testing using the Citrus Testing Framework. The ideal candidate should have strong experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control tools, and a solid understanding of microservices, containerization, and DevOps practices, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to deliver reliable, high-performance applications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 5-10 years of professional experience in Java development, with a focus on microservices architecture.
- Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful API development.
- Hands-on experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Red Hat OpenShift.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, version control systems (e.g., Git), and automation tools.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks, particularly Citrus Testing Framework, for integration testing.
- Solid knowledge of microservices design principles, DevOps practices, and cloud-native development.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, Agile environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities
