Core Responsibilities
- API Design & Development: Architecting and implementing high-performance, scalable RESTful APIs and microservices using Java.
- Application Lifecycle: Managing the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), from initial architecture and writing clean, optimized code to debugging and deployment.
- Collaboration: Partnering with frontend developers, product managers, and UI/UX designers to ensure seamless system integration and meet business objectives.
- Maintenance & Optimization: Identifying performance bottlenecks, troubleshooting production issues, and ensuring code quality through regular reviews and unit testing.
- Security & Testing: Implementing security protocols to protect data and developing automated integration tests using frameworks like JUnit.
Essential Technical Skills
- Programming: Mastery of Java (specifically Java 8+) and core concepts like Multithreading and Data Structures.
- Frameworks: Proficient in Spring Boot, Hibernate, and Spring MVC for building robust enterprise applications.
- Databases: Experience with relational databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL, as well as NoSQL options like MongoDB.
- Tools & Infrastructure: Familiarity with build tools (Maven, Gradle), version control (Git), and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Cloud & Messaging: Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP, and messaging brokers such as Kafka
