Role description
Technical Expertise
- Extensive hands‑on experience in designing and developing enterprise‑grade applications using Java/J2EE with multi‑tier architecture
- Strong proficiency in Spring Framework, including Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Hibernate
- Solid understanding of enterprise architecture principles and design patterns
- Proven experience developing solutions on cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure
- Good knowledge of cloud‑native services, including compute, storage, and networking
- Strong understanding of APIs, web services, and microservices architecture, with exposure to API management gateways
- Hands‑on experience with RDBMS such as Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL; exposure to NoSQL databases is desirable
DevOps & Security
- Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts with hands‑on experience using tools such as Jenkins, SonarQube, Nexus, Git, Maven, Gradle, and Rundeck
- Sound knowledge of security best practices across all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including secure coding standards
Leadership & Delivery
- Proven ability to work effectively in fast‑paced, high‑volume, deadline‑driven environments
- Demonstrated experience leading teams of 10–15 engineers to design, build, and deploy enterprise solutions into production
- Strong mentoring skills, with the ability to guide team members in delivering high‑quality, scalable solution components
- Experience analyzing user stories, providing accurate effort estimates, and ensuring on‑time delivery of commitments
- Hands‑on exposure to the full project lifecycle, from requirements gathering through development, deployment, and production support
Ways of Working
- Strong ability to learn quickly, adapt to change, and work with new or evolving technology stacks
- Extensive experience working in Agile and Scaled Agile (SAFe) development models
