Role: Java Backend Engineer – Kafka & Azure

Location: Pan India

Required Technical Skills

Languages: Strong Java 8+ proficiency.
Messaging: Expert-level of Apache Kafka (streaming, connectors, producers/consumers).
Cloud/DevOps: Microsoft Azure cloud platform, CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions), and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
Frameworks/API: Spring Boot, REST APIs, and event-driven design principles.
Databases: SQL, NoSQL (e.g., Cosmos DB), and data modelling.

Core Responsibilities

Application Development: Design and implement high-throughput Kafka-based messaging systems and Java/Spring Boot microservices.
Cloud Operations: Deploy and manage applications within Microsoft Azure, utilizing services like AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service), Functions, and Cosmos DB.
Event-Driven Architecture: Develop asynchronous workflows and real-time data processing pipelines.
Performance Optimization: Troubleshoot Kafka performance, optimize SQL/NoSQL databases, and tune application code.
Collaboration: Work in Agile teams, participating in CI/CD, code reviews, and high-level design (HLD/LLD) discussions.
