A technology services firm operating in the Enterprise Software & Product Engineering sector, building scalable, high-throughput backend systems for web and mobile platforms. We deliver mission-critical B2B and B2C services with a focus on reliability, performance, and rapid delivery in an on-site engineering environment in India.
Primary Title: Java Backend Engineer
Role & Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot within a microservices architecture.
- Develop and consume RESTful APIs, ensuring clear contracts, versioning, and backward compatibility.
- Implement data persistence and ORM mappings using Hibernate and optimize SQL queries for performance and scalability.
- Write unit and integration tests; participate in code reviews and enforce coding standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with product, QA, and DevOps to deploy features via CI/CD pipelines and troubleshoot production issues.
- Profile, monitor, and tune applications for latency, throughput, and resource utilization; implement observability and logging.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent (or demonstrable professional experience).
