We are seeking a skilled Java Backend Developer to join our dynamic team at Infovision. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining server-side components that ensure the functionality and performance of our applications. You will work closely with front-end developers and other team members to provide seamless integration between the user-facing elements and the server-side logic. Your primary focus will be on building robust and scalable applications using Java technologies.
Critical Skills To Possess
- Proven experience (7+ years) in Java application development, with a strong emphasis on Springboot architecture.
- In-depth understanding of Spring Framework (especially Spring Boot) for building scalable and maintainable applications.
- Proficiency in Hibernate ORM for database access and management.
- Experience with RESTful API design, implementation, and documentation.
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Solid understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
- Any relevant certifications in Java, Spring, or related technologies would be advantageous
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
Roles & Responsibilities
- Design and develop microservices-based applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Hibernate.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other developers, to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Participate in architectural discussions and decisions related to microservices design, data modeling, and system integration.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
- Implement unit tests and participate in code reviews to ensure high code quality and performance.
- Integrate with various data sources and databases using Hibernate ORM for efficient data handling and persistence.
- Develop RESTful APIs to expose microservices functionality, ensuring proper API design and documentation.
- Work with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes to deploy and manage microservices.
