Role: Java Backend Developer

Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Java Backend Developer with strong experience in building scalable, high-performance applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices Architecture. The ideal candidate should have expertise in backend development, event-driven systems, cloud platforms, containerization technologies, and database management. Exposure to AI/LLM/GenAI technologies will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Build and implement Microservices Architecture for enterprise-grade applications.
- Develop event-driven systems using Kafka and messaging frameworks.
- Create RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following coding standards and best practices.
- Perform unit testing using JUnit and ensure high code quality.
- Work with databases such as Cassandra, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL.
- Deploy and manage applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams for CI/CD pipeline integration and cloud deployments.
- Work on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Contribute to system design discussions and technical architecture decisions.
- Explore and support AI/LLM/GenAI-based integrations where applicable.
Required Skills:
Core Technical Skills:
- Strong proficiency in Java (Java 8/11/17 preferred)
- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot
- Strong understanding of Microservices Architecture
- Experience with Event Driven Architecture
- Knowledge of REST APIs and backend integration
- Experience with JUnit and unit testing frameworks
- Strong understanding of OOPs concepts and design patterns
- Database Skills
Experience with:
