About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Java Backend Developer to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend systems that support our clients' digital initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java development, with proven experience in building scalable microservices architectures. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies in a collaborative environment, contributing to high-impact projects that drive business growth. The role is based in Chennai or Hyderabad, with a full-time hybrid work arrangement, and we are looking for an immediate joiner within 15 days.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:
- 5 to 11 years of professional experience in Java backend development.
- Strong proficiency in Core Java and Java 8 features such as lambdas, streams, and functional interfaces.
- Extensive experience with the Spring Boot framework and related technologies.
- Proven expertise in designing and developing RESTful APIs.
- Hands-on experience in building and deploying microservices architectures.
- Solid understanding of SQL databases and query optimization techniques.
- Experience working with message brokers, particularly Apache Kafka.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git and CI/CD pipelines.
Responsibilities
The key responsibilities for this role include:
- Designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services utilizing Java and Spring Boot frameworks.
- Building and optimizing RESTful APIs to facilitate seamless integration with frontend applications and external partners.
- Implementing microservices architecture following industry best practices and design patterns.
- Developing and maintaining real-time data processing pipelines using Kafka for event streaming.
- Writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code that adheres to quality standards and testing protocols.
- Collaborating with frontend developers and cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive system integration.
- Participating in code reviews, providing mentorship to junior developers, and promoting best coding practices.
- Troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues in production environments promptly and effectively.
