Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement low-latency, high-availability, and high-performance REST APIs using Java.
- Develop reusable, testable, and efficient code to ensure high-quality application delivery.
- Create and maintain technical design documentation for new developments and enhancements.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in existing application code.
- Continuously improve code quality, performance, and test coverage.
- Participate in design discussions and conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices.
- Apply strong understanding of microservices architecture in solution design and implementation.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional and cross-platform teams for seamless system integration.
- Demonstrate learning agility by keeping up to date with emerging technologies and development practices.
- Take ownership and accountability for assigned modules and deliverables.
Mandatory Skills
- Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot
- Experience in building and consuming REST APIs
- Solid understanding of Microservices architecture
- Hands-on experience with RDBMS (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle)
- Working knowledge of Apache Kafka
- Experience with performance optimization and low-latency systems
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
Desirable Skills
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Knowledge of NoSQL databases
- Experience with automated testing frameworks
