About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Java Developer to join our dynamic tech team at Randstad Enterprise. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in software development, with a focus on building scalable, efficient, and secure applications. This role involves designing, coding, testing, and maintaining complex microservices and REST APIs, primarily using Java 8 or above. The developer will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that align with business goals. Qualifications
- Strong 3-5 years of hands-on experience in coding and debugging within enterprise environments.
- Proficiency in Java 8 or higher, with a solid understanding of data structures, design patterns, and best coding practices.
- Experience developing RESTful APIs and working with Spring Boot, Hibernate, and microservices architecture.
- Knowledge of build tools and CI/CD pipelines, including Maven, Jenkins, Docker, and familiarity with AWS services.
- Proven ability to write effective unit tests and ensure code quality using tools like SonarQube.
- Experience in identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks and security vulnerabilities.
- Strong understanding of relational database concepts and SQL.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
- Knowledge of frontend frameworks like ReactJS and testing tools such as Selenium is an added advantage.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices and REST APIs using Java 8+ and Spring Boot.
- Implement best practices for code quality, security, and performance optimization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, QA, and DevOps to deliver robust solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and ensure adherence to coding standards.
- Write comprehensive unit tests and automate testing processes to ensure software reliability.
- Fix bugs, troubleshoot issues, and optimize application performance.
- Assist in deploying applications using Docker, Jenkins, and AWS cloud services.
- Maintain and update existing systems, ensuring high availability and security.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and incorporate innovative ideas into development practices.
