We are seeking a highly experienced Java Architect to join our team in Bangalore.
Location: Bangalore
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
Key Responsibilities
- Define and own the end-to-end application architecture for enterprise-scale Java applications.
- Design cloud-native solutions on AWS, ensuring high availability, scalability, security, and performance.
- Lead architectural decisions related to microservices, APIs, integration patterns, and data management.
- Collaborate with product owners, business stakeholders, and engineering teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Establish architecture standards, best practices, and design guidelines.
- Perform architecture reviews, code reviews, and provide technical mentorship to development teams.
- Drive cloud migration and modernization initiatives, including monolith-to-microservices transformations.
- Ensure compliance with security, performance, and regulatory requirements.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and frameworks.
- Support DevOps and CI/CD strategies in collaboration with platform and operations teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in Java application development (Java 8+).
- Strong hands-on experience with Spring / Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and microservices architecture.
- Proven experience designing and deploying applications on AWS, including services such as:
- EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda
- S3, RDS, DynamoDB
- API Gateway, CloudFront
- IAM, VPC, CloudWatch
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, scalability, and fault tolerance.
- Experience with Generative AI.
- Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes/EKS).
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Strong database experience with SQL and NoSQL systems.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
