Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Java Developer with strong expertise in Elasticsearch to design, develop, and optimize scalable search and data processing solutions. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience building RESTful services using Java and Spring Boot and implementing high-performance search solutions using Elasticsearch in distributed environments.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot
Develop and optimize Elasticsearch indices, mappings, and queries
Implement search features including filtering, aggregations, scoring, and autocomplete
Integrate Elasticsearch with microservices architecture
Optimize search performance, cluster health, and indexing strategies
Ensure high availability and fault tolerance of Elasticsearch clusters
Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards
Required Skills & Qualifications
5–6 years of hands-on experience in Java development
Strong experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data
3+ years of hands-on experience with Elasticsearch
Deep understanding of:
Indexing strategies
Mappings & analyzers
Query DSL
Aggregations
Sharding & replication
Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
Experience with messaging systems (Kafka/JMS).
Strong knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases
- Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines
