Jaslok Hospital Digital Marketing Executive — Google Ads & YouTube
I am looking for someone to join our small, focused team at Jaslok Hospital.
Over the past year we have built a digital presence that is genuinely reaching people. Our YouTube channel — Jaslok DBS — carries patient story films, condition explainers, and caregiver interviews. Patients now arrive at consultations telling us they have spent hours watching our videos before deciding to make an appointment. That is not a small thing.
We are about to significantly expand the quality and volume of that video content — documentary-style patient stories, a full series on the cardinal symptoms of Parkinson's disease, and a caregiver series. The person we hire will be responsible for making sure those films find the people who need them.
The role: Digital Marketing Executive — Google Ads & YouTube
This is a hands-on, independent role. You will own our paid digital activity — not manage it at arm's length, not report on someone else's work.
What the work involves:
— Managing and optimising Google Search and Display campaigns (budgets of ₹25,000–₹1,00,000/month)
— Running YouTube Ads campaigns via Google Ads — In-Feed and Skippable In-Stream — to promote our patient story films to the right audience at the right moment
— Understanding the relationship between paid promotion and organic YouTube performance: audience retention, watch time, SEO titling, thumbnail strategy, playlist structure
— Managing our WhatsApp Business account — routing patient enquiries, maintaining response templates, tracking lead quality
— Setting up YouTube retargeting audiences in Google Ads — so a viewer who watched a film but did not enquire can be reached again
— Reporting campaign performance weekly with clear, honest numbers: cost-per-enquiry, not impressions
What we are looking for:
— 2–4 years of hands-on Google Ads experience, including Video Campaigns — not just Search
— Someone who has actually set up a YouTube In-Feed or In-Stream campaign inside Google Ads, not just clicked 'Promote' inside YouTube Studio
— Familiarity with YouTube analytics: audience retention curves, click-through rate on thumbnails, traffic source reports
— WhatsApp Business experience — enquiry management, not just messaging
— Someone comfortable working directly with a senior physician and a small team — no layers, no bureaucracy
— Based in Mumbai, or able to work remotely with regular check-ins
— Honest about what is working and what is not
CERTIFICATION IN THE RELEVANT AREA WILL BE AN IMPORTANT CRITERIA
The content you will be promoting is not ordinary.
These are short documentary films about patients with Parkinson's disease — their lives before surgery, the decision to seek help, and the transformation after Deep Brain Stimulation. They are emotionally serious. They reach people who are frightened and looking for answers. The person promoting them must understand that, and must bring a different instinct to this work than they would to promoting a product or a service.
What we are NOT looking for:
— Someone who reports reach and impressions as primary success metrics
— A generalist who has touched YouTube Ads once or twice
— Anyone who treats patient enquiries as leads to be closed
Compensation: Competitive, commensurate with experience. Significant autonomy. The right person will grow with this programme as it scales.
