Driver/Valeter

We are looking for a dedicated and reliable Driver/Valeter to join our JP Rentals Team at our Edinburgh Depot, Newbridge. This key role supports our operations by ensuring that all rental vehicles are delivered and collected on time, while also maintaining the high standard of cleanliness expected for our vehicles. The main duties of this role include: > Safely deliver and collect rental vehicles from customer locations. > Ensure all vehicles are thoroughly cleaned to a high standard, both inside and out, before they are made available for hire. > Conduct off-hire inspections and record any damages. > Checking of service certificates that are due and update service stickers on equipment > Refuel vehicles when necessary after off-hire. > Perform essential safety checks on vehicles (oil, tyres, screen wash, etc.) to ensure they are safe for hire. > Test drive vehicles when required to ensure they are in good working condition. > Help with general site and yard maintenance as needed. Are you the right person? We'd love to see the following skills and experience from our applicants: > A full UK driving licence (Essential) > Previous experience in a driving and/or rental environment (Desirable) > Experience in cleaning equipment or vehicles to a high standard > Customer-focused with a "can-do" attitude > Team player who enjoys collaborating with others Why join us?
