Role Description
This is a Part-time remote role for a Japanese Language Instructor at StudyAsan. The instructor will be responsible for creating engaging lesson plans, conducting virtual classes, and providing personalized support to students based on their learning needs. The role includes evaluating students' progress, helping them improve their linguistic proficiency, and incorporating cultural awareness into lessons to enhance understanding. Collaboration with the team to refine teaching materials and strategies is also a key aspect of this role.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication and Writing skills in both Japanese and English
- Proficiency in Research and Analytical Skills to design effective lesson materials
- Experience in Training and mentoring students in language acquisition
- Ability to structure and deliver lessons in a virtual environment
- Familiarity with Japanese culture and linguistics is highly desirable
- Certification in Japanese language proficiency (e.g., JLPT N3 or higher) is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Linguistics, or related field is preferred
- Passion for teaching and empowering learners
