Manager/Senior Manager - Corporate Legal

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified legal professional to join our Legal team as Manager/Senior Manager – Corporate Legal. The candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end legal documentation of lender partnerships, advisory work related to corporate and financial transactions, vendor and partner agreements.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Drive high-stakes commercial transactions by drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of agreements including strategic partnerships, loan documents, service contracts, vendor engagements, NDAs, and MoUs, ensuring legal robustness and business alignment.
• Advise on complex legal and regulatory matters, particularly in the context of NBFC operations and fintech models, with a focus on RBI guidelines, corporate governance, and financial regulatory compliance.
• Work directly with leadership and cross-functional teams—including business, finance, credit, and operations—to preempt and mitigate legal risks while enabling scalable growth.
• Ensure regulatory integrity and operational compliance, embedding legal best practices across contracts, internal processes, and decision-making frameworks.
• Build and streamline legal infrastructure, including standardization of documentation, automation of legal workflows, and maintaining version-controlled templates and checklists.
• Engage and coordinate with leading external legal advisors for specialist input on structuring, advisory, and regulatory matters, managing them with strategic oversight.
• Support corporate governance and internal compliance, including board resolution drafting, statutory filings, and coordination with company secretarial functions.
  
  

Requirements

• Professional legal qualification from a reputed institution.
• 3-6 years of experience in corporate legal roles, preferably in NBFCs, banks, or fintech companies.
• Strong understanding of contract law, corporate law, and regulatory frameworks applicable to financial institutions.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• High attention to detail and sound judgment.
• Familiarity with fintech partnerships will be an added advantage.
