Summary:
Sugpiat Defense is looking for MISSION DEPLOYMENT AND READINESS SUPPORT SME (MDRSS) personnel to support our DoD Client; we are focused on delivering innovative operations and solutions through proven successful methods. Qualified personnel will provide adaptive and customized program support to staff, key enablers, and mission partner affiliates from JHQ/JTF pre-establishment to disestablishment – including, but not limited to, the qualifying and enabling preparations for training, deploying, re-deploying, assessing, validating, and sustaining affiliated personnel for ready employment when, where, and how needed to achieve JHQ/JTF mission objectives. They must independently and proactively undertake the following tasks:
Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions:
• Provide reoccurring, custom, and episodic support functions to JHQ/JTFs to include, not limited to, the monitoring and routing of workflows through to completion across multiple DOD systems (TMT, EWMS, DR, DRRS, DTS, DISS, JPASS, et al.); tracking and reconciling of both staff and unit readiness; facilitating mission travel; and responding to taskings and RFIs from HQUSSOCOM and senior DOD stakeholders by assigned deadlines - in coordination with Components, TSOCs, Joint Staff, and other DOD and non-DOD mission partners.
• Provide on-site JHQ/JTF mission support functions, directly interfacing with military, governmental, and private sector organizations for visits and related protocol matters; prepare and coordinate for official functions and mitigate the nuance issues that might be expected and unexpected in the convening of such functions/events.
• In MS applications, to include SharePoint and Teams, conceive, develop, implement, and update comprehensive reporting products both depicting and distinctly representing information about supported JHQ/JTFs including, not limited to, training events, senior leader engagements, unit structure, force laydown, capability shortfalls, required resources, et al.
• Primary liaison and action officer to supported units for the in-processing related activities of its staff (military and government civilian), and the foremost purveyor for any entitlement, award, evaluation, accountable record, or movement pertaining requirement they might have until officially out-processed and returned to home station. Such functions may include but are not limited to, assisting with ISOPREP input/update, security clearance verification, and SCI/ACCM indoctrination coordination.
• IAW prevailing policy, provide Organizational Defense Travel Administrator or Defense Travel Reviewer roles in the Defense Travel System to assist personnel with travel orders and associated vouchers; similarly, provide system and process-based support for Government Travel Card (GTC) coordination, timecard monitoring, SharePoint administration, Defense Ready/SOF Ready administration, security management (INFOSEC & OPSEC), and records management.
• Assist in providing a hospitable work environment by scheduling and managing, and individually performing, logistical and maintenance-related duties in support of government facilities and the workspaces therein—such requirements include, but are not limited to, cleaning and escort duties.
• Assist in budget management, including, but not limited to, purchasing support equipment and materials.
• Aggregator/reviewer/editor of key outgoing documents and facilitator/organizer for drafting agendas, topics, and talking points for hosting/convening meetings, visitations, and conferences. Pursuant to any event convened, will undertake and/or facilitate the completion of any process/action necessary to provide persons involved with the necessary accesses, physical or otherwise, to participate fully per the government’s convening requirement.
Required Qualifications:
- 3 years’ experience working with the DoD.
- Proven ability to undertake and conclude a daily workload involving both a high volume of person-to-person interactions – leveraging multiple software applications and systems to execute supporting tasks.
- Proven ability to independently work through and support others in the completion of timely and essential mission deployment and readiness support tasks within and requiring government systems (TMT, EWMS, DR, DRRS, DTS, DISS, PRMS, et al.).
- Proven expertise in using the Microsoft Suite of applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project, Teams, SharePoint) to conceive, develop, implement, and update comprehensive reporting products both depicting and distinctly representing information for benefit of assigned organization and its mission partners, with quality of product sufficient for recipients ranging from equivalent action officers to senior government officials.
- Current DoD Top Secret clearance and eligible for SCI access
