Jacobs Entertainment is currently in search of a “Server” for the Gold ‘N Silver Inn. The Gold ‘N Silver is Reno’s oldest casual dining restaurant and has been a Reno landmark for over 60 years. The property has gone under a restoration and renovation that includes a neighborhood bar and updated dining room that will be a downtown Reno highlight for the next 60 years.

Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties:
- Provide knowledgeable, efficient, and personalized service
- Demonstrate through menu, beverage, and allergen knowledge
- Accurately enter orders and process payments
- Recommend items to enhance guest experience and drive revenue
- Follow responsible alcohol service practices
- High guest satisfaction and service quality
- Order accuracy and sales performance
- Compliance with policies and procedures
- Table-level food and alcohol safety
- Immediate corrective action when issues arise
- Safe food handling at point of service
- Prevention of allergen cross-contact
- Proper temperature maintenance of food during service
- Responsible alcohol service and ID verification
Skills, Education and Other Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent Work Experience
- Responsible alcohol service certification (or ability to obtain)
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong guest service and communication skills
- ServSafe Food Handler Certification (required)
- Responsible Alcohol Service Certification
- Allergen Awareness Training
- Identification that establishes identity
