Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Jackup Rig HSE Officer, based in Middle East. The HSE Officer will be responsible for implementing and maintaining health, safety, and environmental programs on-site. Duties will include ensuring compliance with safety regulations, conducting risk assessments, overseeing workplace safety protocols, and promoting occupational health and EHS standards. The role also involves providing training, reporting incidents, and collaborating with teams to uphold a safe and efficient working environment.
Qualifications
- Valid OPITO BOSIET and Seaman Book
- Expertise in Health & Safety, Occupational Health, and Workplace Safety protocols
- Knowledge of Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) standards and practices
- Certification in NEBOSH or equivalent safety training programs
- Strong communication and organizational skills for effective on-site safety operations
- Ability to identify risks and implement preventative measures
- Experience in oil and gas or offshore environments is an advantage
- Bachelor's degree in Safety Management, Engineering, or related fields is preferred
