We’re seeking a dependable Automotive Technician to perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs in our fast‑paced dealership service department. This role is ideal for a technician who takes pride in quality workmanship and values consistency, stability, and growth opportunities.
What You’ll Do
- Perform routine maintenance and vehicle repairs as outlined on repair orders.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical concerns using electronic diagnostic tools.
- Repair and maintain vehicle systems including but not limited to engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, steering, and air conditioning.
- Test drive vehicles and verify repairs to ensure safety and performance standards are met.
- Complete warranty and non‑warranty repairs in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.
- Communicate repair findings and estimated completion times with service advisors.
- Maintain an organized, safe, and clean work environment.
- Stay current on updated repair procedures and new vehicle technology.
Qualifications
Required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- General automotive repair and diagnostic knowledge
- Ability to safely use shop tools and electronic diagnostic equipment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Prior experience as an automotive technician in a dealership or repair shop
Preferred
- ASE certifications or OEM training
- Experience with diagnostics, electrical systems, or other driving concerns
- Willingness to continue training and skill development
Pay & Benefits
Compensation
- $25.00-$50.00 per flat rate hour
- Compensation is based on experience, skills, and certifications and is negotiable.
