Researcher

J-PAL South Asia is seeking to hire a Researcher to work on its portfolio of randomized evaluations of social programs. The Researcher will provide research, analytical, and operational support to evaluation teams working on a range of topics including health, education, and labor. Key responsibilities include assisting with research design, data collection and analysis, project management, and dissemination of findings. The ideal candidate will have strong quantitative and qualitative research skills, experience with project management, and an interest in the application of rigorous methods to understand social and economic development issues.

J-PAL South Asia is a regional office of the Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL), a global network of antipoverty research centers. J-PAL's mission is to reduce poverty by ensuring that policy is informed by scientific evidence.
