Role Description The IVF Specialist will provide comprehensive fertility evaluation and treatment to patients undergoing assisted reproductive procedures, including IVF, ICSI, and related therapies. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting consultations, performing and interpreting diagnostic tests, developing individualized treatment protocols, monitoring ovarian stimulation cycles, and overseeing oocyte retrieval and embryo transfer procedures. The role also involves close collaboration with embryologists, nurses, and counselors to ensure continuity of care, as well as maintaining accurate medical records and adherence to clinical and ethical guidelines. The IVF Specialist will participate in patient education, counseling on treatment options and outcomes, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives within the center. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Patna.
Qualifications
- Advanced medical qualification in Obstetrics and Gynecology (MD/MS/DNB or equivalent), with specialized training in Reproductive Medicine or Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART).
- Hands-on experience in IVF procedures, including ovarian stimulation, oocyte retrieval, embryo transfer, and management of fertility-related conditions.
- Strong knowledge of reproductive endocrinology, infertility investigations, and evidence-based treatment protocols.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams including embryologists, nursing staff, and counselors in a high-volume clinical setting.
- Excellent communication and counseling skills, with a patient-centered approach and sensitivity to diverse backgrounds.
- Commitment to ethical practice, regulatory compliance, and maintaining detailed and accurate clinical documentation.
- Willingness to participate in continuous professional development, case reviews, and clinical audit or research activities.
- Prior experience in a fertility or IVF center is highly desirable; proficiency in relevant clinical software and electronic medical records is an advantage.
