Role Description The IVF Counsellor is a full-time, on-site role based at Nandi IVF in Ashok Vihar , New Delhi. The working hours will be from 9.30 AM. to 6 PM. Monday to Saturday.
The role involves providing empathetic counselling to individuals and couples undergoing fertility evaluation and treatment, helping them understand procedures such as IVF, IUI, and related diagnostic processes. The IVF Counsellor will explain treatment options, timelines, risks, and expectations in clear language, and support patients in making informed decisions in coordination with the medical team. Daily responsibilities include conducting one-on-one and couple sessions, offering emotional support, addressing concerns, and guiding patients through consent processes and treatment protocols. The role also includes maintaining accurate counselling records, coordinating with doctors, nurses, and administrative staff, and contributing to patient education materials, workshops, and support programs.
Qualifications
- Strong counselling and patient support skills, with the ability to provide empathetic, non-judgmental guidance to individuals and couples.
- Solid communication skills, including clear verbal explanation of medical concepts and strong written skills for documentation and patient education.
- Understanding of fertility treatments and reproductive health concepts, or willingness to quickly learn IVF, IUI, and related procedures.
- Organizational and coordination skills to manage appointments, maintain accurate records, and collaborate effectively with clinical and administrative teams.
- Relevant educational background such as a degree in Psychology, Counselling, Social Work, or a related health or behavioral science field.
- Prior experience in healthcare counselling, fertility services, or mental health support is preferred.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain strict patient confidentiality.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced clinical environment and supporting patients through emotionally challenging situations.
- Knowlege of CRM such as Bitrix & Bonvoice is an advantage.
