This is an exciting opportunity to kick-start your career in events and fundraising by supporting a portfolio of high-profile special events that raise millions for critical care and support services.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the planning and delivery of fundraising events, from high-value galas to corporate-led initiatives.
  • Assist with donor experiences, sourcing auction and raffle prizes.
  • Write compelling content for marketing materials and event communications.
  • Manage inboxes and provide admin and financial support for events.
  • Maintain up-to-date records and ensure smooth coordination of logistics and suppliers.
  • Build positive relationships with volunteers, supporters, and stakeholders.
  • Attend and support live event delivery to ensure a seamless experience.
  • Champion Marie Curie’s values, demonstrating purpose and authenticity in every interaction.


Ideal Candidate:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organised with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage competing deadlines.
  • Friendly, collaborative, and able to build rapport with people at all levels.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • Self-motivated with strong attention to detail and a genuine interest in events or charity work.
  • Experience in administration or events (including internships or volunteering) is a bonus.

  • £22,222 per annum + £3,500 London weighting (if applicable)
