We are hiring a Staff Software Engineer to join our team in Bengaluru, India (Bagmane). As a Staff Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex software systems that power Ivanti's products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and reliable solutions. You will also contribute to the technical direction of the team and mentor junior engineers. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop complex software systems using modern technologies and best practices - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver innovative solutions - Mentor and guide junior engineers, provide technical leadership, and share knowledge - Participate in code reviews, pair programming, and continuous improvement initiatives - Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, and apply them to enhance the product Required Skills and Experience: - 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong background in designing and implementing large-scale, distributed systems - Proficient in one or more programming languages (Java, C#, Python, etc.) - Hands-on experience with modern web technologies, frameworks, and libraries (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js) - Familiarity with cloud-based architectures and platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) - Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills - Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment - Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, including version control, testing, and deployment - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
