Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an ITI Fitter located in Aluva. The ITI Fitter will be responsible for assembling, maintaining, and repairing equipment as per engineering drawings and specifications. Daily tasks include installation, troubleshooting, and conducting preventive maintenance of machinery. The role also involves adherence to safety standards and collaboration with the engineering team to ensure quality outcomes.
Qualifications
- Practical skills in machinery assembly, installation, and repair
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical manuals
- Experience in conducting preventive maintenance and performance testing
- Understanding of safety practices and protocols in an industrial environment
- Teamwork and effective communication skills to collaborate with engineers and technicians
- ITI certification in the Fitter trade
- Prior experience in the defense or space sectors is an advantage
- Ability to work diligently and with attention to detail
