About the role

Qualifications:

  • Ability to communicate and interact in a professional and concise manner via phone, radio, email, and in person.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Experience in use of standard office machines, and in basic Microsoft office software programs preferred.
  • Must have good organizational skills and verbal communication skills.

Job Duties:

  • Perform a variety of general reception and clerical duties within the Office of Facilities; greet visitors to the office
  • Act in a warm, welcoming professional manner
  • Answer phones and direct calls to appropriate staff members or take messages
  • Calling out work orders over a two way radio
  • Answer radio calls and respond to routine questions
  • File documents, manuals and various correspondences
  • Perform routine data entry and complete word processing assignments
  • Assist in maintaining office files, photocopying, and mail distribution
  • Assist with archiving of building information by classifying and maintaining records, copying and/or scanning documents of various sizes
  • Aid in various department projects as assigned
