Microsoft 365 Engineer
Role Overview:
We are seeking a Microsoft 365 Engineer with a solid background in Office 365 services and Active Directory to join our managed services team supporting one of our global enterprise clients. You will be a key player in delivering high-quality support and contributing to the continuous improvement of Microsoft 365 solutions. This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer with practical experience in Microsoft cloud and directory services, looking to work in an international, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Level 2/3 support for Microsoft 365 services across multiple brands.
- Implement changes and optimizations on the O365 tenant.
- Assist internal IT teams by providing advanced troubleshooting and technical guidance.
- Share knowledge and best practices with IT colleagues across the US and Europe.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Strong experience supporting Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Intune, etc.).
- Hands-on expertise with Microsoft Active Directory (user/group management, policies, permissions).
- Solid knowledge of Windows Server environments.
- At least 3 years of experience in an IT support or engineering role.
- Fluent English (required for international collaboration).
Desirable Skills (Nice-to-Have):
- Experience with Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD) and hybrid identity solutions.
- Working knowledge of GPO, ADFS, DNS, DHCP, and PKI.
- Basic scripting skills (PowerShell, Batch, or VBScript) for automation.
- Familiarity with disaster recovery and IT security best practices.
