Responsibilities
- Deliver products to customer addresses accurately and on time as part of Vistar Express Logistics.
- Collect payments from customers and provide receipts to ensure proper documentation for Vistar Express Logistics.
- Ensure timely deliveries and handle any delivery issues or discrepancies effectively.
- Maintain and update accurate delivery records and report any issues to the Vistar Express Logistics supervisor.
- Assist with the loading and unloading of items, ensuring the safe handling of packages in accordance with Vistar Express Logistics standards.
- Communicate with customers to provide exceptional service and address any queries or concerns.
- Follow delivery schedules and routes provided by Vistar Express Logistics to ensure efficient operations.
- Adhere to all Vistar Express Logistics policies and safety procedures during deliveries.
- Report any vehicle maintenance issues and ensure the delivery vehicle is well-maintained and clean.
- Provide feedback on delivery processes and suggest improvements to enhance efficiency within Vistar Express Logistics.
Requirements
- 0 - 6+ years of experience in delivery roles; freshers with a strong willingness to learn are encouraged to apply at Vistar Express Logistics.
- All education levels are acceptable; a valid driver’s license is required for operating delivery vehicles.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and address their needs for Vistar Express Logistics.
- Ability to navigate New Delhi and understand local delivery routes to ensure timely deliveries.
- Reliable, punctual, and capable of handling the physical demands of the delivery role at Vistar Express Logistics.
- Basic arithmetic skills to manage payment collection and handle cash transactions accurately.
- Problem-solving skills to address any delivery-related issues on the spot for Vistar Express Logistics.
- Familiarity with delivery management systems or mobile applications is a plus.
