Yashvi Translation is seeking a specialized “Italian to English Certified Translator” for a high-priority legal project involving court orders and litigation documentation in Delhi. This role is unique as it requires an India-based linguist who can provide official certification and potentially serve as a witness in arbitration proceedings.
Need Specialization: Legal Translation & Witness Testimony
Location: India (Required for Legal Proceedings)
Client Requirements as follows:
Scope of Work (25 Pages Total)
- Order from the Italian Labour Court (23 Pages)
- Order from the Italian Appellate Court (2 Pages)
Deposition as a Witness
In addition to the above, there is a possibility that the individual performing and certifying the translation may be required to testify as a witness during an arbitration proceeding. Therefore, the translation would have to be done by an individual based in India.
Key Responsibilities:
# Process legal documentation such as Affidavits, Court Judgments, and Power of Attorney with high linguistic precision.
# Deliver a Certificate of Accuracy for the project, ensuring compliance with legal standards.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
✔ Proven experience in Legal, technical translation.
✔ Deep understanding of the terminology used in “visa and immigration documentation”.
✔ Ability to handle sensitive financial and legal documents with total confidentiality.
✔ Strong command of both source and target languages with a focus on cultural nuance.
✔ Deliver projects within deadlines
✔ Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
