THE COMPANY

Itaú has operations in 18 countries throughout the Americas and Europe.

In the United States, Itaú has offices in Miami and New York with lines of business that offer a broad range of corporate investment, asset management and private banking services. Internship opportunities are available in both the Miami and New York offices. Candidates should apply to only one location.

WHAT YOUR SUMMER WILL LOOK LIKE

The Itaú Summer Intern will take part in a 10-week program where they will be placed in an area for the duration of the summer, where you will engage in high impact strategic projects that will add value to the bank as well as your experience. This experience will be complemented by a mentorship program, networking events, speaker series, and an end of summer project. The goal of the internship is for the intern to leave with a strong foundation and cultivated skills, as well as an understanding of how a company such as Itaú works. Based on performance and a match between area and intern, successful summer interns may apply to future full-time positions at Itaú.

ELIGIBILITY

• Undergrad students enrolled at a U.S. university
• Rising junior or senior in June 2026 (Graduating from Dec/26 to Jun/28)
• GPA >= 3.60
• Bachelor’s Degree in all majors is welcome
• Eligible to work in the US (including F1 visa holders under CPT/OPT)
• Eligible to work 100% in person from MIA or NY during the program
• Have not previously participated in our US Summer Internship Program

Technical Skills

• Fund of Funds: Selects and manages external fund managers across equities, fixed income, and alternatives, creating diversified vehicles that feed into client portfolio solutions.
• DCM (Debt Capital Markets): Advises on and executes fixed-income transactions, connecting issuers with investors in global capital markets.
• Investment Banking Latam: Provides advisory and execution services for mergers, acquisitions, and capital raising across Latin America markets.
