Role Overview
We are looking for a self-driven, quick-learning RFID Technical Support & Implementation Engineer to manage customer engagements across the complete RFID solution lifecycle—from pre-sales and requirement study to installation, training, and post-implementation support.
This is a remote/WFH role based in India, with opportunities for PAN India and international travel at company expense.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct RFID demonstrations, pre-sales support, customer meetings, and technical presentations.
• Understand customer business processes and conduct System Requirement Studies (SRS).
• Create process flows, workflow diagrams, system architecture, and technical documentation using tools such as Visio, draw.io, Lucidchart, PowerPoint, etc.
• Prepare SRS, technical specifications, project documents, installation guides, training material, and SLA-related documentation.
• Coordinate with customers, sales, development, hardware, and project teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Perform or coordinate RFID installation, setup, configuration, testing, commissioning, and integration.
• Conduct customer training and knowledge transfer.
• Provide remote/virtual post-installation support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
• Work according to customer SLA and 24×7 support requirements, including on-call support when required.
• Travel to customer locations across India and overseas for demonstrations, site surveys, implementation, troubleshooting, and training.
Required Skills
• Good understanding of hardware, software, and system implementation
• Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
• Good spoken and written English communication skills.
• Ability to create clear process flows and technical documentation.
• Strong customer-facing, presentation, and coordination skills.
• Self-learner and quick learner, with the ability to independently understand new technologies.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
• Enjoys working with corporate/enterprise customers and exposure to different business environments.
Qualification & Experience
• Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical, IT, Computer Science, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in RFID, IoT, system integration, technical support, field engineering, automation, or a related technology role is preferred.
Location & Travel
Location: India | Remote / Work From Home
Travel: PAN India & International
Travel Expenses: Company-paid as per company policy
Support: 24×7/on-call support as required by customer SLA
