Team Lead — Full Stack Architecture

We are building the next layer of Food intelligence for F&B operators.
At Fitshield, we are transforming traditional restaurant menus into AI-powered, hyper-personalized decision systems that increase order value, improve customer experience, and help restaurants serve people better.
We are looking for a Team Lead — Full Stack Architecture to own the complete technical vision and execution across our stack.
This is not a conventional engineering role.
This is a leadership role where you will directly work with the CTO and help shape the technical foundation from the ground up.
You will have full ownership of architecture decisions, team building, and engineering culture.
Your Role
‣ Lead Django/Python backend architecture, optimization, and ML integration
‣ Drive frontend migration from Flutter to React; own the design system
‣ Build and mentor a team of 4–6 engineers
‣ Set technical standards, code review practices, and development culture
‣ Work closely with product on feasibility, roadmap, and timelines
What We’re Looking For
‣ 6+ years building production software; 3+ years in leadership/tech lead roles
‣ Deep Django/Python expertise with proven system design skills
‣ Strong React fundamentals (shipping production apps)
‣ Track record optimizing architecture at scale (databases, APIs, performance)
‣ Experience leading engineering teams through technical transitions
Nice to Have
‣ DS/Algo optimization, ML/data pipeline experience
‣ Flutter or mobile-to-web migrations
‣ Early-stage SaaS experience
The Stack
Backend: Django, Python, MongoDB
Frontend: React (migration target), TypeScript
APIs: Postman for management and testing
Data: Planning ML features for accuracy
