We’re hiring an IT Systems Engineer to own identity and access management, and core IT operations across the business. This role is centered on IAM using Okta, while also running internal ticketing, endpoint management, and onboarding for both employees and customers. This is a hands-on operator role focused on speed, security, and scale.
What You’ll DoOwn and operate IAM in Okta, including SSO, MFA, lifecycle management, and access policies.
- Manage joiner, mover, and leaver processes end-to-end with clean, accurate access control.
- Build and support customer and partner federation using SAML, OIDC, and OAuth.
Run the internal ticketing queue in Jira with strong prioritization and fast resolution.
- Continuously improve ticket workflows to reduce backlog and eliminate friction.
- Identify repeat issues and automate processes to reduce manual effort.
Manage the full endpoint lifecycle for macOS devices, including provisioning, support, and refresh.Administer MDM using Kandji to enforce security and compliance.
- Execute onboarding for employees and customers with Day 1 readiness across accounts, devices, and access.
Administer core SaaS platforms, including Google Workspace and Slack.
- Support access, permissions, and integrations across the SaaS environment.
- Create and maintain clear processes, documentation, and runbooks.
- Drive automation using workflows, APIs, and scripting wherever possible.
- Partner with Security on access reviews, audits, and policy enforcement.
What Good Looks Like- Identity is clean with no orphaned or excessive access.
- Onboarding is fast, consistent, and complete on day one.
- The ticket queue is healthy, moving, and not a bottleneck.
- Devices are secure, compliant, and consistently managed.
- Customer SSO integrations work without friction.
- Processes are documented, repeatable, and scalable.
- Manual work decreases over time as automation advances.
Experience- You have 3–6+ years in IT, systems engineering, or help desk roles with IAM exposure.
- You have strong hands-on experience with Okta.
- You have experience managing ticket queues in Jira or similar systems.
- You have experience supporting macOS environments and MDM platforms like Kandji.
- You understand SSO protocols, including SAML, OIDC, and OAuth.
- You can troubleshoot across identity, endpoint, and SaaS layers.
- You build, improve, and automate rather than just react to tickets.
