About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled IT Support Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our computer systems, applications, and network environments to ensure seamless operations across the organization. You will serve as the first point of contact for technical support, providing timely assistance to end users and internal teams. Your expertise will be crucial in troubleshooting complex issues, performing root cause analysis, and implementing effective solutions to prevent future incidents. As part of our IT team, you will collaborate with vendors and internal departments to resolve technical challenges efficiently and uphold our service level agreements. Your proactive approach and technical proficiency will contribute significantly to maintaining high system availability and performance, supporting Roanuz’s mission to deliver innovative solutions and exceptional user experiences.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background with a minimum of 3+ years of hands-on experience working with Microsoft Azure cloud platform. You should have a solid understanding of object-oriented programming concepts, preferably with Python, and be proficient in Linux commands and SQL/NoSQL queries. Experience with Linux services, web servers such as Nginx and Apache, and Ubuntu OS administration is essential. You must demonstrate proven troubleshooting skills across Linux and Windows operating systems, along with excellent analytical, communication, and customer service skills. A background in cloud infrastructure management and support, coupled with a proactive mindset, will be highly valued.
Responsibilities
- Monitor, maintain, and optimize computer systems, applications, and network environments to ensure high availability and performance.
- Proactively identify, prioritize, escalate, and resolve critical and high-impact support tickets.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and implement permanent fixes.
- Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
- Provide timely, high-quality technical support and guidance to end users, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Document incidents, solutions, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to improve team efficiency and knowledge sharing.
- Ensure adherence to IT support policies, SLAs, and industry best practices.
- Continuously update technical knowledge to stay aligned with evolving systems, tools, and security standards.
