SharePoint Administrator / Content Management Analyst
Key Responsibilities:
- SharePoint content management: Manage, build, and maintain sites, pages, libraries – using SharePoint best practices with metadata and overall content management standardization – with guidance.
- Information architecture : Maintain SharePoint information architecture including site hierarchy, navigation, metadata, content types, and taxonomy according to OCDIO and EPMO standard
- SharePoint user permissions: Review, maintain, and audit SharePoint permissions to ensure users have appropriate access based on their roles and responsibilities while adhering to governance standards
- SharePoint Site Architecture: Maintain SharePoint information architecture including site hierarchy, navigation, metadata, content types, and taxonomy according to OCDIO and EPMO standards
- Troubleshooting : Monitor and resolve SharePoint issues, providing timely support to minimize disruptions in service according to established SLAs
- Documentation and Training : Develop and maintain user documentation, training materials, and provide end-user training and support to facilitate effective use of SharePoint.
- System Performance Monitoring : Conduct regular audits and assessments of SharePoint usage and performance, recommending enhancements as necessary.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain SharePoint content (building sites, pages, libraries – using SharePoint best practices with metadata and overall content management standardization – with guidance)
- Create and manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls to safeguard sensitive information and ensure compliance with security policies.
- Monitor and resolve SharePoint issues, providing timely support to minimize disruptions in service.
- Work with cross-functional teams to design and deploy SharePoint solutions that meet business needs and enhance user experience. (New sites, pages, libraries)
- Develop and maintain user documentation, training materials, and provide end-user training and support to facilitate effective use of SharePoint.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments of SharePoint usage and performance, recommending enhancements as necessary.
Required Skills And Qualifications
- Experience : 3-5 years of experience managing SharePoint environments, including SharePoint Online and SharePoint Server.
- Technical Skills : Strong understanding of SharePoint permission, architecture, including site collections, lists, libraries, and workflows.
- Education : A bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field is commonly preferred.
- Problem-Solving Skills : Exceptional problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
- Communication Skills : Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multipole content initiatives simultaneously
- Customer-service mindset with strong stakeholder engagement skills
Preferred
- Experience with Power Automate workflows
- Experience working in Microsoft Teams with SharePoint
- Experience supporting enterprise content governance programs
- Experience within large matrixed organizations
- Experience supporting U.S.-based stakeholders remotely until 12:00pm EST
