About The Role

Qualifications

Responsibilities

The primary responsibilities of this role include producing comprehensive IT services market analyses and vendor profiles, acting as a thought leader, and providing strategic insights to clients. Specific duties encompass interviewing senior personnel within major IT service providers, assessing vendor capabilities, and developing detailed market forecasts. You will be responsible for creating NEAT (NelsonHall Evaluation and Assessment Tool) charts, which visually represent vendor strengths and capabilities. Attending industry analyst events and engaging with market participants will be part of your routine, along with tracking vendor news, financials, mergers and acquisitions, and new offerings.

You will also assist vendors in refining their strategic development and operational transformation initiatives by providing executive feedback and market positioning insights. Developing and propagating NelsonHall’s research and insights through social media channels is another key activity. Additionally, updating market forecasts annually and supporting buy-side clients in identifying suitable vendors and innovative solutions will be crucial to your role. This position requires a proactive approach to market intelligence gathering and a strategic mindset to interpret industry trends effectively.
