About The Role
Citco IT is a global team of professionals responsible for the development and support of IT applications across Citco Group's divisions. We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Business Analyst to operate within a dynamic and challenging environment. The successful candidate will collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyse business requirements, translating these into functional specifications for technology teams. Working closely with project managers, developers, and QA teams, the role also encompasses process improvement and the recommendation of solutions to enhance operational efficiency. The position requires close interaction with System Architects, Business Analysts, QA Teams, and other technical resources.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with business stakeholders to understand needs, objectives, and challenges.
- Elicit, document, and analyse business requirements, processes, and workflows.
- Translate requirements into clear functional specifications for technical teams.
- Propose innovative and practical solutions to address business challenges.
- Ensure that proposed solutions align with the organization's strategic goals and technological capabilities.
- Collaborate with technology teams to design solutions aligned with strategic goals.
- Serve as liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams.
- Communicate complex technical concepts to non ‑ technical audiences.
- Produce detailed documentation including process flows, use cases, and user stories.
- Support project planning, scope definition, estimation, and resource allocation.
- Monitor project progress and proactively identify risks or deviations.
- Participate in system testing, UAT, and validation of implemented solutions.
- Identify and recommend process optimisation and efficiency improvements.
- Leverage AI tools and techniques to support data analysis and process automation.
About You
Required Skills:
- Proven experience in banking systems and software, with strong data analysis capabilities.
- Ability to create technical specifications and collaborate effectively with development teams.
- Knowledge of T24, SWIFT, Middleware, Business Intelligence, Machine Learning, and AI tools.
- Familiarity with AI ‑ driven analytics and automation in a business context.
- Proficiency in Agile and Waterfall methodologies and the software development lifecycle.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a Business Analyst role.
- Proficiency in JIRA, Confluence, and Microsoft Visio.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work autonomously.
Additional Beneficial Attributes/Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field.
- 5+ years' experience in the Funds and Banking industry.
- Experience working on AI or Machine Learning projects in a business analysis capacity.
- Proficiency in requirement gathering, process modelling, and documentation techniques.
