Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly skilled Senior QA Engineer with strong experience in both Manual and Automation testing to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 4–7 years of experience in software testing with the ability to design comprehensive test strategies, perform detailed manual testing, and build scalable automation frameworks.
You will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our applications by combining manual exploratory testing with robust automation practices. The role involves close collaboration with product managers, developers, and DevOps teams to identify defects early and deliver high-quality software in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze product requirements and translate them into detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
- Perform functional, regression, exploratory, integration, and UAT testing to ensure product quality.
- Validate data accuracy and integrity across complex systems and integrations.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium, Playwright or similar frameworks.
- Build and improve test automation frameworks for UI and API testing.
- Automate regression test suites to improve release efficiency and coverage.
- Perform API automation testing using tools such as Postman, RestAssured, or similar frameworks.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins or similar).
- Monitor automation runs and maintain test stability and reliability.
- Collaborate with developers and product owners to understand requirements and translate them into test cases.
- Work on complex data integrations and verify data integrity across different platforms and systems.
- Conduct testing for third-party integrations to ensure seamless data flow and system interoperability.
· Contribute to QA best practices, test strategy improvements, and automation adoption.
Qualifications:
- 4–7 years of experience in software testing, with strong exposure to both manual and automation testing.
- Hands-on experience with Selenium or other UI automation tools.
- Experience with API testing and automation (Postman, RestAssured, or similar).
- Programming knowledge in Java or Python for automation scripting.
- Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, testing lifecycle, and defect management.
- Experience validating complex data integrations and backend systems.
- Experience testing third-party APIs and system integrations.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins.
- Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
