Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented IT Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) Engineer to design, implement, automate and continuously improve enterprise risk and compliance capabilities. This role serves as a bridge between Information Security, Technology, Audit and Compliance teams by leveraging our GRC platform, automation, data analytics, and control frameworks to strengthen the organization’s risk management and compliance posture.
The GRC Engineer will be responsible for supporting and enhancing governance, risk, and compliance processes; implementing and maintaining GRC platform capabilities; automating control monitoring; managing risk and compliance data; and providing technical expertise for regulatory examinations, audits, and certification activities. The position combines cybersecurity, risk management, compliance, data management, and engineering disciplines to enable scalable and efficient compliance operations.

Location:
- Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru, India is a requirement of the role.
- Mode of Working: This role follows a hybrid work model, with a primary base in Bengaluru. While on-site presence is essential for key engagements, flexibility is offered for remote work based on business needs and team alignment.
Key Responsibilities
Risk & Compliance Automation
- Develop automated control monitoring solutions to reduce manual compliance activities.
- Implement continuous compliance monitoring and reporting capabilities.
- Build metrics, dashboards, KPIs, and KRIs for executive and operational reporting.
- Create automated evidence collection and workflow processes for audit readiness.
- Design data analytics solutions that improve risk visibility and compliance effectiveness.
Skills And Background You’ll Need
Education: B.Tech/BE, Information Security, Cybersecurity, Risk Management, Computer Science or a related discipline.
Experience
- 5+ years of experience in Information Security, IT Risk Management, Compliance, Audit, Security Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience administering or supporting a GRC platform such as: ServiceNow IRM, Archer, OneTrust, AuditBoard or MetricStream
- Experience supporting regulatory audits and compliance initiatives.
- Experience implementing automated compliance or security monitoring solutions.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Project Leadership.
Technical Skills
- GRC platform workflow development and process automation.
- Data analytics and dashboard development.
- API integrations and data exchange concepts.
- PowerShell, Python, JavaScript, or similar scripting languages. (any1)
- Experience working with CMDB and configuration management concepts.
- Understanding of cloud platforms including Azure and AWS. (Azure preferred)
- Familiarity with identity and access management controls.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity governance and risk management frameworks.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
- Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC)
- Experience implementing Continuous Control Monitoring (CCM)
- Experience within financial services, insurance, or other regulated industries
- Experience with SOX, SOC, ISO 27001, HIPAA, and NIST compliance programs. (Any 1 among these)
