About The Role
The IT Risk Management Analyst at 7-Eleven Global Solution Center India will be instrumental in safeguarding the company's digital assets by performing comprehensive vendor risk assessments and ensuring adherence to security standards. This role involves evaluating third-party vendors for operational and security risks, identifying vulnerabilities, and collaborating with internal teams to implement effective mitigation strategies. The candidate will develop detailed reports, update IT standards and processes, and support governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) activities. Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree or higher in information technology, computer science, or related fields. They should have between 3 to 5 years of experience in IT risk management or GRC functions, preferably within the retail industry or Fortune 500 companies. Relevant certifications such as CISA, CISM, or CRISC are highly desirable and will be considered an added advantage. The candidate must demonstrate strong communication skills, critical analysis abilities, and project management expertise. A solid understanding of frameworks such as ISO27001, PCI, and NIST 800-53 is essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities
- Perform detailed reviews of third-party vendors to assess operational and security risks associated with their systems and processes.
- Identify, evaluate, and document vulnerabilities within vendor environments, proposing appropriate remediation actions.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as IT, procurement, and legal to ensure risk mitigation strategies are effectively implemented and monitored.
- Develop comprehensive reports that provide actionable insights for senior management and stakeholders to make informed decisions.
- Maintain and update IT standards, policies, and process documentation related to IT risk management to ensure compliance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Share ideas for process improvements and risk reduction strategies with leadership to enhance the organization’s security posture.
- Support other Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) activities, including audits, compliance checks, and policy reviews, as required by the IT Risk Management team.
