Job Title: HR Recruiter (or Talent Acquisition Specialist)
Job Summary
An HR Recruiter is responsible for finding, attracting, interviewing, and hiring qualified candidates to meet an organizations staffing needs. They manage the recruitment process from job posting to onboarding while ensuring a positive candidate experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with hiring managers to understand job requirements and staffing needs
- Create and post job advertisements on job boards, social media, and company websites
- Source candidates through resumes, networking, referrals, and online platforms
- Screen resumes and applications
- Conduct phone, video, and in-person interviews
- Coordinate interview schedules between candidates and hiring managers
- Assess candidates skills, experience, and cultural fit
- Check references and support background checks (when applicable)
- Prepare job offers and assist with onboarding new hires
- Maintain accurate recruitment records and applicant tracking systems (ATS)
- Promote employer branding and a positive candidate experience
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s / master's degree in human resources or equivalent
- 5+yrs of relevant working experience
- Preferred candidates with hiring background involved with Gen AI and Data Engineering (Data Science, MLOps, AI/ML Engineer, GenAI Engineer, Prompt and Rag, Azure Architect, AWS Architect, Snowflake Architect)
- Experience in end-to-end recruitment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to evaluate candidates fairly and objectively
- Organizational and time-management skills
- Familiarity with job boards, LinkedIn, and recruitment tools
- Basic knowledge of labor and employment laws
