Job Title: Business Analyst / Project Manager (BA/PM)
Function: Business Services Group (BSG)
Domain: Banking & NBFC
Role Summary
The BSG Business Analyst / Project Manager (BA/PM) drives end‑to‑end delivery of banking and NBFC technology initiatives by translating business needs into compliant, scalable solutions. The role ensures strong governance, high‑quality documentation, and effective coordination across business, architecture, infrastructure, and DevOps teams.
Key Responsibilities
Lead business analysis and project delivery for banking/NBFC initiatives
Elicit and document requirements (BRD, FRD, user stories, process flows)
Manage scope, timelines, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communication
Lead UAT coordination, issue resolution, and business sign‑off
Prepare solution and technical documents using approved templates, ensuring:
Coverage of functional and technical aspects
Original, environment‑specific content (non‑vendor, non‑generic)
Alignment with enterprise architecture and InfoSec guidelines
Coordinate architecture, infrastructure, and InfoSec reviews and obtain owner sign‑offs
Knowledge
Banking & NBFC Domain
Customer onboarding, KYC/VKYC
Loan origination, underwriting, approval, and disbursement
Repayments, collections, servicing, and closures
Regulatory and compliance awareness (RBI, AML, InfoSec)
Technology & Architecture
High‑level understanding of solution, application, and integration architecture
Familiarity with enterprise application landscapes and dependency mapping
Knowledge of API‑based integrations, middleware, and data flows
Awareness of system scalability, availability, and resilience principles
Server & Infrastructure
Basic understanding of:
Application and database servers
On‑prem, cloud, or hybrid infrastructure models
Environment setup (DEV, SIT, UAT, PROD)
Awareness of server capacity, performance, and availability considerations
DevOps & Delivery Enablement
Working knowledge of DevOps concepts, including:
CI/CD pipelines
Automated deployments
Version control and release management
Understanding of environment promotion, rollback, and deployment approvals
Collaboration with DevOps teams to support efficient and controlled releases
Required Experience & Skills
8–12+ years of experience in BA and/or PM roles
Banking or NBFC domain experience preferred
Strong documentation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills
Experience working with IT, architecture, infrastructure, DevOps, and vendor teams
Qualifications (Preferred)
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
PMP, CBAP, SAFe, Agile, or DevOps‑related certifications are a plus
