Position: IT-OT Integration Engineer
Location: Gurugram
Experience: 4–8 Years
Qualification: B.Tech
Notice Period: Immediate to 30–45 Days (Buyout Available)
Role Overview
The IT-OT Integration Engineer will be responsible for bridging industrial automation systems with enterprise IT infrastructure. The role requires strong expertise in control systems, industrial communication protocols, and enterprise architecture to enable seamless data flow and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement IT-OT integration architectures across industrial and enterprise systems
- Integrate SCADA, MES, ERP, Historians, and middleware platforms
- Work with industrial protocols such as OPC-UA, MQTT, and Kafka
- Develop and manage data models and system interfaces
- Support use cases like Digital Twin, Predictive Maintenance, and Analytics
- Ensure alignment with industry standards and integration frameworks
Technical Requirements
Must Have
- Strong experience in Control Systems (PLC/SCADA) and electrical drawings
- Deep understanding of IT-OT architecture and boundaries
- Knowledge of industrial networking (TCP/IP, Modbus, Serial communication)
- Hands-on experience with MES, SCADA, ERP, Historians (AVEVA / OSIsoft PI)
- Familiarity with data modeling tools (e.g., UA Expert, Siome)
Good to Have
- Experience with Open Platform SCADA (e.g., Ignition)
- Knowledge of ICS/OT cybersecurity and network devices (Firewalls, IDS/IPS)
- Understanding of networking concepts (LAN, WAN, VLAN, Subnetting)
- Exposure to MES consulting / IT-OT integration projects
